I suppose you have been inspired by this frosty morning weather:) I prefer rainy days, I really like staying at home, in bed, maybe not alone, while it's raining outside. stefania
None of them, in winter! Unfortunately I have the bad habit of identifying myself in others...If I were a homeless or a straydog I wouldn't be so happy roaming about the street, getting cold and wet...
I prefer snow because it is more silent and poetic than rain. Now I'm imaging me on a carpet in front of a fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate, while outside it's snowing. I think it will be very difficult coming back to reality! Adriana
I like the both but only for less time.In February, in the heart of Winter, I like the snow because It's sweet staying at home on the sofa reading book. I like the rain when I must not go out or when during the storm I am in the bed. Maria
I don't like both. I prefer the sun, always the sun adn its heat, but if I chose between rain or snow I prefer snow...gray doesn't exist; I prefer the opposite. Vito
It's an hard question. I love both. The rain is wonderfull. I think I'm the only stupid girl that in the rainy days, doesn't open the umbrella, while having it in the bag. I love the sound of the rain and its perfume, but the snow is fantastic. It's so magic. Unfortunately, it's so hard to see snow in Bari and, maybe, this is the reason because we think it's beautiful. I abstain. :)
A perfect idea expressed in perfect English, Stefania!
Very humane of you, Aleph! ("Neither of them, in winter! Unfortunately I have the bad habit of identifying myself with others...If I were a homeless person or a stray dog...")
I've always suspected you were a poet, Adriana... ("Now I'm imagining myself on a rug in front of a fire with a cup of hot chocolate, while it's snowing outside. I think it will be very difficult now to return to reality!")
You are evidently a true Mediterranean woman, Adry. ("Neither of the them. Like Aleph,in fact, I love the summer and I profoundly hate the winter...when it rains or snows I feel down.")
Reading books about the summer, Maria? ("I like both but only for a short time.In February, in the heart of winter, I like the snow because it's fun to stay at home on the sofa reading a book. I like the rain when I don't have to go out or when, during a storm, I am in bed.")
I agree, Vito. I hate greyness too. ("I don't like either. I prefer the sun, always the sun and its heat, but if I have to choose between rain and snow, I prefer snow...grey depresses me.")
I'm not sure I agree about the rain, Loredana!("It's a hard question. I love both. Rain is wonderful. I think I'm the only person who, on rainy days, has an umbrella in her bag but doesn't use it. I love the sound of the rain and its smell. Snow is fantastic. It's magical. Unfortunately, it's unusual to see snow in Bari and maybe this is why we think it's beautiful.")
