I'm hopeless at ironing, especially the shirts. Everytime I try to iron one side of a sleeve, the other side regularly gets creased. I can't say I 'hate' ironing, though. The most hateful chore is undoubtedly removing the dust from the furniture and ornaments.
Oh, fortunately I don't do household chores but occasionally when my man say:"ehy, put this cup on its place beacause for me is high" or "take me that cup there" I do and I hate to do this, probably I present a small stairway to my mam...This is the bad luck to be the highest of the family. Vito
I hate washing dishes too, Maria! ["I waste a lot of time but since last Christmas I have had a dishwasher!"]
Yeah, I guess it's rather a finicky job, Aleph ["especially shirts"; "The most hateful chore is undoubtedly dusting the furniture and ornaments."]
You are indeed fortunate, Vito! ["Oh, fortunately I don't do household chores but occasionally when my mam says: 'Can you put this cup away for me because I can't reach?' or 'Get me that cup there', I do. I hate doing it and probably I will give my mother a small ladder...It is my misfortune to be the tallest in the family."]
I'll be in touch, Adriana! ["I most hate doing the laundry. I'm completely incapable. But if you want to change the colour of your clothes, I'm the girl to do it!"]
Dusting is a Sisyphean task. Living on my own, I have found that I rather like to wash dishes "the morning after": foam, warm water, and memories of the lunch/dinner/breakfst/tea/snack/guests I had.
